According to the latest report from Sacnilk, the film raked in an impressive Rs 4.07 crore in the final weekend of 2023. With this, 'Animal' has now amassed a total of Rs 544.93 crores (nett), securing its place as the second-highest grosser of 2023, trailing behind only 'Jawan.'
'Animal' continues to captivate audiences, proving to be a box office sensation, particularly during the holiday season. Its fifth-weekend collection propelled it ahead of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan,' which had previously garnered Rs 543.09 crores (nett) at the Indian box office.
Despite the competition posed by recent releases such as 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' and 'Dunki,' 'Animal' has managed to maintain a strong presence in theatres. However, the next milestone for Ranbir Kapoor's film is to surpass the box office figures of 'Jawan,' which currently stands at an impressive Rs 640.25 crores (nett), presenting a substantial gap of nearly Rs 95 crores for 'Animal' to bridge.
